A WORLD OF MODERN MECHA AND MAGIC Syaoran, Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona venture to the Hanshin Republic to find one of the missing pieces of Sakura's memory, transformed into magically powerful feathers. There, Syaoran meets his "Kudan": a fierce wolf-spirit whose fiery power mirrors Syaoran's personal strength. But with foes like a pop idol who sings words of pain, Syaoran's hunt for feathers is no child's game! And even if he finds the feathers, will Sakura ever wake up from her magical sleep? And since Syaoran bargained away their relationship in a pact with a witch, can their love ever return to the way it was?

Appraise Out Of Books Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Vol. 2 (Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE #2)

I'm liking the manga much more than the anime. The manga gives the fan more hints, it tells the reader much more about who the characters are, what secrets they might harbor. So far, I like Fye best. He and Kurogane and Mokona Modoki are a great trio. Shaolan and Sakura are too sugary cute - though their story is just as painful, of course. Also, it's great to see characters from various shows pop up, especially if they actually died in those shows and here they are alive and sometimes even

I really enjoy this story and the character development that is explored. Fair warning, though, that the translator chose to use the R-slur.

This volume wasn't quite as interesting as the first volume in which the main characters set out on their journey. It got a little silly with Primera's singing attacks and all of the battles and whatnot. Also, this is the first volume that I read in English, and I'm not very impressed with a few things about it. One picky thing is poor editing--they can't decide whether to call the character I mentioned above "Primera" or "Primela." Pick one! Also, I'm not sure how Fai's name was supposed to be

Oh man, this volume was fun but heartbreaking in the end.(view spoiler)[The moment when Sakura finally wakes up and asks Syaoran "Who are you?", is SO FUCKING KILLER. I can't imagine having such a strong connection/love with someone only to have them completely forget about you. Syaoran is a great character though, because he never wallows in pity. He recovers himself and keeps doing his best for her. (hide spoiler)]Also, his Kudan is super badass.

Cool volume! Great action! I love all of the kudan, especially how Fai and Kurogane have complimentary kudan; a dragon and a phoenix together is an auspicious sign! I'm glad Sakura woke up by the end of this one, I was wondering what would happen if they had to drag her around like a rag doll throughout all the universes. But it was so sad how it hurt Sayoran when she didn't know him. I'm hoping that I interpreted the Witch's words correctly, even if the characters didn't see it - that Sayoran's

I love this series! So interesting to see how different worlds operate. I can't wait to read mpre! I just can't get enough of this story.
