Representaion As Books The Way Home (Lights of Peril #2)
Where do you begin to piece back the fragments of a shattered heart? “I’m letting you go today, it’s time.” Finally, Sadey is ready to say goodbye to the only man she’s ever loved. With the help of Shame and Mace she’s learning to breathe on her own again; one day at a time. Her hopes are high and her world is finally coming into focus. Until someone from her past comes back to help her heal, bringing with him more heartbreak and confusion than she could have ever believed possible. Ace loves her. For six months, he’s watched her suffer from a distance. Knowing it wasn’t his place to see her through this, but no matter the risk he won’t stay away. “Sadey, I’ve missed you, okay? I’ve thought about you. I missed being here. Do you understand that? I’ve missed being around you, touching you, holding you, and laughing with you. I missed you before I even left town that night. You chose Hem, not that it was any kind of competition, but you were with Hem. I was never even given the consideration.” Emotions are high as further truths of betrayal are exposed, leaving everyone to pick up the pieces once again. 5 Stars!!! After reading the first book in this series I jumped right into this one and finished it in a day. There were more ups and downs and heartbreak than I could have imagined being in a MC series. Although this is not my typical genre I will definitely be reading more from this author.Okay. I'm gonna just lay it out there. I liked the first book better. This one irritated me. 1) CJ, the baby of two months, was handed off throughout the whole book to other people like he was a freaking hot potato. I can ignore a lot of things in a book, but this stuck out at me. He is 2, count them 2, MONTHS. 2) The dialogue sucks ass. Again. I would really suggest the author role play her dialogue with someone, because I just want to go in and fix it. It's really, really, bad. 3) Sadey and
This one wasn't really my favorite, I prefer the Mace and Shame's story. Overall it was really good and just left me REALLY REALLY surprised.

I still love the characters and this story but unfortunately, I didn't care for Sadey's PoV. I liked the first book much better.
What do you do when your world is ripped apart and everyday you feel like you are losing your mind? Sadey Collins knows all about that. With Hem gone, Sadey is trying to come to grips that she is a single mother to a child that is an exact replica of his daddy. The people who love her: Shame, Mace, April and Cherry are all worried and trying to help her move on. After finally coming to terms with the fact that Hem is gone, Sadey finally says goodbye. With that goodbye, finally a light in her
Don't know what happened here...I loved the first book but this instalment felt very choppy and had tons of plot issues. It also felt like a damn soap opera and not at all like a biker book. I just wanted to slap Mace, Sadey and Cherry for all their bickering and drama.(view spoiler)[Why the hell did Hem stay away so long? And what made him come back all of a sudden when the threat was still there? (hide spoiler)]I don't know what Ace was doing...it made no sense to me at all.Very disappointed.
