Ilustration Toward Books Afterlife (Afterlife Saga #1)
Alternate cover edition of ASIN B008EL3OU0 Afterlife… just some gothic nightclub where gossip is fuelled by the presence of a rich and unearthly, handsome family or Afterlife…the strange place where time seems to stand still and guests feel the presence of something more powerful held within the confines of the VIP. Keira is new to this small, cold town and is running from a past that seems to feast on her darkest memories. She finds living with her sister away from English soil to be just the ticket to the new life she is trying desperately to find. So when the offer of a job at the infamous Gothic nightclub Afterlife comes along she thinks that lady luck has finally found her. That is until its seductively dark and forbidding owner Dominic Draven sets eyes on her. All at once she is captivated and plunged into a world she never knew existed but the deeper her obsession with Draven becomes, the harder it is to decide…should she stay and continue to work within the shadows of the supernatural or should she run from a madness she thinks may consume her? Warning: This book is amazingly addictive, with its dark mystery, haunting horror, seductive twists and one sexy dark lord that has the reader drooling every time the name Draven appears on the page!List Appertaining To Books Afterlife (Afterlife Saga #1)

FREE series Unlimited. To check out more cheap reads https://www.facebook.com/ParanormalBo...The editing in this one left quite a bit to be desired. I believe for some this would be too long and, at times, to slow (436pg). It actually took me two days to read. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it.DNF at 34%It takes the main characters way too long to really meet and when they do it's a snooze fest.Trying to read this book was like trying to push against quicksand. The only good thing about the book is reading two paragraphs or a page puts me to sleep on nights where I am struggling (I know sounds harsh but it is the truth), for that reason it's staying on my kindle. So glad I purchased this for 99p and not more, although wish I hadn't.
Okay so this one is hard to review. On the one hand, the story and the ideas behind it are good and on the other hand do I really need to know every detail, do we really need to read about every shower the MC takes or have to endure crazy long descriptions about pointless things.... I mean for real, this author could write a chapter long description on a blade of grass. At times I almost DNF the book, purely out of frustration. However, there was enough of a story hook to keep me going till the
DNF, much ado about nothing! Very loooooooong book with nothing happening. A lot of stolen glances... and visiting in dreams, just to talk. Then when they actually talk in real life the hero is a jerk, and the heroine is an insipid star (is star the correct term? He isn't famous beyond the people of the town being fascinated with him) struck girl. Frankly there is no reason why she is star struck at all. The guy looked at her once, in front of everyone. Of course that is reason to loose your
This was my first book by this author, she is now an auto-buy, and I just bought the second book. See my review on Amazon. I loved this book, I could not figure out what the hell type of creatures we were dealing with till it was revealed, so that was cool. I loved all the characters and the world and the powers that are given to Dominick Dravin are all kinds of bad ass!! I look forward to see what comes at them next.
As you can see from the date I started this it's taken me a WHOLE week to get through this book. It NEVER takes me this long to get through a book. Not even J.R Wards BDB takes me this long and they are loooooong! But with Wards books I don't mind them being long. I love the length of her books. This book not so much. For the first 30% of the book, literally nothing happened. I guess some could say it was setting the premise, I however would say it's a waste of paper or kindle space. After that
Bloody love this book can't believe I haven't read it sooner :-) x
