Flawless definitely lived up to its name - flawless!Sara Shepard has such a way of speaking to the reader and making it seem like they are right in the action. I found myself not wanting to read at night because I got so paranoid! That's the kind of book I crave.In Flawless, the girls are still struggling with their problems and they are becoming more advanced and more people are beginning to suspect something is wrong with them. A is becoming more vengeful and more into blackmailing them, theirI'm really gutted by how disappointing this book was for me; especially considering how amazing I thought the TV series adaptation is. The book tried too hard to emphasize the glamour and high sophistication of Rosewood and everyone who lived in it, that it became so superficial, and the characters unlikeable - they were portrayed as being somewhat vapid and shallow - especially Hanna and Spencer, two of the most sharp-witted girls of the group with very strong personalities on the show. What was that ending????I'm so confused.Ok so book two. Ali's body has been found, the funeral held, and A has made the first move. While the four girls still aren't what you would call friends, they are finding themselves thrown back together as they try to figure out just who A is.I will say, all of these girls are kind of horrible and self-centered. They just really aren't likable characters. That being said, they are LOADS better than the horrible parents that plague this series. Racism,
Warnings are the same as the first book: Homophobia, OCD, Bullying, Sexual Assault, Eating Disorders. Ok... so I did like this book better than the first one. Thats not saying much but its definitely an upgrade in my humble opinion. That is why I gave this book a three stars. The same annoyances I have of the first book are largely still in this novel. Have you ever felt like someone was watching you? I thought this book was really good. Its genre is realistic fiction and I'm usually always into that kinda stuff because I can compare to my experiences. It kinda flowed over from the first book, so I would suggest you read the first one if you want to read this one so it will make more sense. It has the same thing the other book does- the four girls: Spencer, Aria, Emily, and Hannah are still getting threatening messages from an unknown sending who always signs the threats "-A." They are
